One of the largest residential complexes in eastern Florida
The Flamingo residence located in the city of Miami, is one of the largest residential complexes in eastern Florida. Originally built in 1962, the two-tower building underwent a renovation on 860,000 sqft including the common areas and its exterior.
Americaribe was awarded the renovation of the tower, the central and the pool courtyard as well as the renovation of the North tower. It includes: the facade covering, the partial demolition of the perimeter walls, the openings of slabs to facilitate the creation of penthouse, the creation of 2 new staircases, 3 elevators, and other structural changes. All these to achieve the reduction of the number of units from 600 to 400 for an average area of 1100 sqft.

A renovation in an occupied building
The work was divided into 4 phases over 3 years, until 2021 multiple TCOs . This is the first renovation project signed in the United States, after the construction of the iconic Brickell City Center and the Arte building in Surfside.
